Today is the start of a brand new week. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am so very grateful to be having another one. I know it's typical of us all to complain about getting older but I am thinking of it differently. Of course I would like to not LOOK quite so old, but we have to embrace having another opportunity to greet a new day.
I sent Cheryl a note of encouragement as she is going through some health challenges right now. Unfortunately, the doctors can't seem to find what is causing her troubles. She works in our district office in Richmond. She used to be a bookkeeper and was one of the best ones we had. She is so sharp and level headed. Since we only have bookkeepers at our corporate office now, Cheryl helps our district accountant. She has been with the company over 30 years and is a big asset. I pray the doctors find the cause of her problems so she can come back to work and she won't be suffering anymore.
Rory is my son's best friend. They have known each other since the 9th grade. Today is his birthday so I sent him a Happy Birthday card. I told him that I believed in him and that he could do whatever he put his mind to. He has been a really good friend to my son and I wanted him to know I appreciate him and believe in him.
